At Greater Bergen Head Start, our goal is to get your child ready for kindergarten and to prepare your entire family for life beyond the program. Since1968, we have served more than 25,000 families across Bergen County, Jersey City, and Paterson, NJ.

We have 13 schools in the area, where our certified staff provides children ages 0-5 with a quality education that goes beyond the ABCs and includes social development and life skills. We also offer families educational opportunities, support, resources and even have a special program for mothers who are expecting! Our program is tuition free for qualifying families.
